Copilot is the AI assistant built into BergPDF. It is optional and off until you set it up. Nothing is sent until you press a button, to the provider you chose, with your own key. Your document is never changed by it.
- Summarise a document, list main points or summarise its comments
- Ask free questions; answers cite pages and "p. N" jumps there
- Quoted passages are verified and highlighted in the document
- Explain a selected term from the right-click menu
- OpenAI, Anthropic, or a local server; you choose the model
- A consent dialog explains exactly what will be sent, and you can forget your consent
